MGM Medical College,
Navi Mumbai was commenced in the year 1989. The medical college is having a
deemed status as per the UGC Act 1956. The affiliated university is MGM
Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai. The medical institution conducts an
all India Entrance Examination to select students into UG / PG courses.
The institute is one of the best teaching and research
institutions in Maharashtra state recognized by the Medical Council of India
for undergraduate and various postgraduate degree, diploma and super specialty
courses recognized by Medical Council of India.
The College offers postgraduate courses in 19 subject’s
specialties and super-specialty courses in Cardiology and CVTS. The faculties
are encouraged for participating in national and international conferences and
presenting research papers, poster presentation etc.
The departments spread across the college are- Biochemistry,
Pathology, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, FMT, Microbiology, Community
Medicine, General Medicine(Extended Specialties: Neurology & Nephrology), Pediatrics
(Extended Specialties : Neonatology), Respiratory Medicine, Dermatology,
Psychiatry, General Surgery(Extended Specialties: Pediatric Surgery, Gastroenterology
Surgery, Plastic Surgery and Neuro Surgery), Orthopedics, Ophthalmology,
ENT(Extended Specialties: Audiometric and Speech Therapy), Obstetrics & Gynecology,
Anesthesiology, Radiology & Radio Diagnostics, Geriatrics, IH & Blood Transfusion,
Cardiology, CVTS, Urology and Emergency Medicine.
Admission Details:
Admission in MBBS Course –
- For getting admission into MBBS course in Mahatma Gandhi Missions Medical College Navi Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, the students have to qualify Common Entrance Test conducted by MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai.
- The selection of the students is done based on the ranks obtained in the all India Entrance Examination.
Admission in PG Course –
- For getting admission into PG Diploma, MD, MS, DM & MCh Courses in the medical institution, the MBBS graduates have to qualify Common Entrance Test – conducted by MGM Institute of Health Sciences, Navi Mumbai.
- The selection of the students is done based on the ranks obtained in all India Entrance Examination.
