Padmashree Dr. D. Y.
Patil Medical College, Mumbai was instituted in the year 1996.
The college has been agreement the status of
Deemed-to-be-University by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD),
Government of India on recommendation of the University Grants Commission (UGC)
within a period of just six and a half years of establishment.
The institute objective is to ensure that the lamp of
education glows bright, the results are but self- evident.
The institute houses in its ambit some of the leading institutes
of higher learning and has a culture of commitment, transparency and teamwork.

Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate who has passed final MBBS examination from a recognized Medical College, included in the schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, is eligible.
- The candidate who has obtained registration either from the MCI or from authorized State Medical Council after completing one-year compulsory rotating internship.
- If a candidate who does not fulfill any or all the above requirements or fails to pay the fees at the time of counseling he/she will not be considered eligible for admission
Admission Procedure
Candidate should obtain 50% or more marks at AIPGMET to
qualify for admission.
The provisional selection for the General Seats in the Post
Graduate Courses will be done on the basis of merit in All India Post Graduate
Medical Entrance Test (AIPGMET).
