Sree Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences was established in the year 2006 and approved by Medical Council of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, New Delhi and asociated to Bharath University, Chennai.

Sri Lakshmi Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SLIMS). MBBS 150 Seats. PG 6 Seats.The medical college is having a deemed status as per the UGC Act 1956. The affiliated university is Bharath University, Chennai. SLIMS conducts an all India Entrance test to select students into UG / PG courses.
