(CHRI),Kanchipuram was started in 2006 by the prestigious Rajah Sir Muthiah
Chettiar Charitable & Educational Trust. The College is associated to Dr.
MGR Medical University,Tamil Nadu.
The College is recognized by the Medical Council of India
(MCI), New Delhi. The College believes in creating an environment of
professional excellence, shared goals and mutual respect in which the best
professionals challenge each other to greater heights of achievement.
The aim of the college is to create an institution that
contributes in multiple ways to a healthier society.
The medical college is having a deemed status as per the UGC
Act 1957. The affiliated university is Chettinad Academy of Research and
Education. The medical institution conducts an all India Entrance Examination
to select students into UG / PG courses.
