Shri B.M.Patil
Medical College, Bijapur was established in 1910, by Vachana Pitamaha
Dr.P.G. Halakatti under BLDE Association. The association started Engineering
College, Pharmacy College, Nursing College and the Medical College, along with
its own 1000 bed teaching hospital first of its kind in the country. The
association sponsors and runs 75 institutions in both rural and urban areas of
Bijapur and Bagalkot districts. The spectrum covers primary schools, high
schools, pre-university colleges, degree colleges in faculties of Arts,
Science, Commerce, Law, Management, Education Science, Fine arts, Pharmacy,
Nursing, Nursery, Sericulture, Engineering & Polytechnics, Medical sciences
with Post graduate courses and sponsors the BLDE University.
Elgibility:
- Candidate should possess MBBS Degree or its equivalent Degree recognized by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and the Medical Council of India.
- Candidate should have completed satisfactorily one-year pre registration compulsory rotatory internship in duly recognized institutions as laid down by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences for registration as a Graduate.
- Candidate should have valid category certificates for candidates seeking selection under any reserved category.
Admission in PG Course –
For getting admission into PG Diploma, MD, MS & M.Ch
Courses in the medical institution, the MBBS graduates have to qualify Common
Entrance Test – conducted by BLDE University, Bijapur. The selection of the students into UG / PG Courses
is done based on the ranks obtained in all India Entrance Examination.
