Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College (MRMC) Gulbarga was set up in the year 1963. The preclinical section began in 1964 and the clinical section in 1966.

The College was recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in 1972 and was the second Private Medical College in the Country next to Manipal to get recognition.

The graduates of the College are serving in different parts of the country and abroad. The Post-graduate courses began in 1979 and now the College is offering Post-graduate training in 18 different subjects.

The College got credit from the Medical Council of India in 1972. It was the second private medical college in the Country after KMC, Manipal to get this credit. College also got the gratitude from the British Medical Council.

The candidate should have completed Bachelor’s/MBBS Degree from a recognized university.

Post Graduate:

• Seats are allotted by merit 
• selection based on the Entrance test conducted, followed by the centralized counselling.
• The candidates interested in taking admission for the PG Course are informed to send their application along with eligibility certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences

The college is the second private college in India to be recognized by the MCI. It is also famously recognized by the British Medical Council. The teaching hospital here is a super specialty one and was inaugurated by Rajiv Gandhi when was the Prime Minister of India.

Sri S. Nijalingappa, the then Chief Minister, Govt. of Karnataka, Sri. Veerendra Patil and Dr. D. C. Pavate helped in establishing the Medical faculty. Medical faculty was started in 1963 with mission to bring out quality doctors by conveyance quality education to fulfill this and dynamical expectation of the folks and up the health standing of the folks of this region by providing health care and providing optimum coaching facilities for Medical students.

The college has more than 250 well trained and eminent members in its faculty. The sports department is fully functional and the students experience a holistic training here.

The college admissions are extremely popular amongst students and they vie for a seat in the MBBS program here. The MRMC fee structure is as per university norms.

Total Collection of text books and references is about 22,222. The college spends about Rs.15 to 20 Lakhs annually to procure new books and about Rs. 20.00 Lakhs annually for subscription to various National and International Journals. The College also subscribes for the HELINET of RGUHS which offers about 500 full text of E-Journals Library also provides current Awareness service, Bibliographic service, & Departmental Library Service.

Pravara Institute Loni MD MS Admission Process

Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni was founded in the 1972 in a small village called Loni in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra State in India.

The trust was established by the founder of the co-operative movement in India Dr. VitthalraoVikhepatil.

In the year 1976 Pravara Medical Trust started providing medical care in the primary and secondary level. It also established a hospital with 100 beds.

The hospital grew up from 100 beds to 800 beds with multi disciplinary facilities.

The institute is known for providing a wide range of degrees, diplomas and certificates courses that are recognized by the Government of India, Govt. of Maharashtra and other states as well as the University Grants commission (UGC), Medical Council of India (MCI) Dental Council of India (DCI), All India Physiotherapists Association (AIPA) Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and Nursing Council of India (INC).

Eligibility:

• Candidate seeking admission to postgraduate Medicine/Dentistry course should hold MBBS /BDS degree of recognized University by MCI/DCI.
• A candidate who has completed one year compulsory rotating internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 30th April of respective academic year can appear for AICET.
• All such candidates will have to submit the documentary proof, from the Principal/ Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship along with the manual application form, failing which the application shall be rejected.
• A candidate should have obtained permanent registration with MCI/DCI (as the case may be) or any state council. If candidate does not have such registration, he should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission.
• Candidates who are previously registered and pursuing/completed the PG degree course or have obtained PG degree, are not eligible for appearing at AICET.
• Candidates previously admitted to PG degree course and resigned/left the seat are not eligible for appearing at AICET.
• Candidate who have completed Medicine postgraduate diploma course or would be completing by 31st March respective academic year will be eligible for AICET for admission to postgraduate degree in the same subject only.
• Candidate should be appeared for the AICET Examination conducted by this University and should get minimum 50% marks. However, admission will be on the basis of merit.

Admission Process:

• Admission to all undergraduate and postgraduate programs will be on the basis of performance in the All India Entrance Test conducted by PIMS University.
• Admissions to all courses offered by University are steered by Admission Committee consisting of experienced persons.
• The Admission Committee is responsible for conduct of the entrance test, declaration of results and merit list, counseling and final admission to the courses.
• The AICET (All India Entrance) is conducted at various places in India for selection of candidates for admission to various courses offered by the constituent colleges of PIMS University.
